Two weeks after its introduction, the African Film Press (AFP) Film Pipeline Registry's tracker has picked up roughly 50 additional projects, bringing the subscriber-facing slice to just over 310 records. The new entries cover a mix of Development and Pre-Production work, primarily feature films — among them a Moroccan batch from the CCM - Centre Cinématographique Marocain's first 2026 funding session, African co-productions backed by Belgium's Centre du Cinéma et de l'Audiovisuel (Wallonia-Brussels Federation), and other projects from across the continent that surfaced via festival lab selections, fund announcements, and trade-press confirmations.
There's still a huge backlog of mostly 2020–2024 projects at various stages of development, which will be gradually integrated into the platform as updates are confirmed and details are cleaned up.
